The Philips Affiniti 30 is a midrange multi purposed ultrasound machine that shares the same architecture of other Affiniti series, Affiniti 50 and Affiniti 70. Like other Affiniti series, Affiniti 30 has 21.5″ high resoluton LCD monitor articulatable for easy viewing and folds down for transport, 12.0″ large LCD touch screen, and 4 active transducer ports. The fundamental technologies are the same as Affinit 50 and Affiniti 70 – Smart TGC, SonoCT, XRES, TAC(Tissue Aberration Correction), iSCAN, AutoSCAN, iOPTIMIZE. 10 sets of transducers can be used in Affiniti 50 and some of them fit to Affiniti 70. With early image and application optimization since introduction of Affiniti 50 and Affiniti 70, the Philips Affiniti 30 is designed for abdominal, obsterical, fetal echo, cerebrovascular, vascular(peripheral, crerbrovascular, temportal TCD, and abdominal), abdominal vascular, gynecological and fertility, small parts, and superficial, musculoskeletal, pediatric general imaging, prostate, echocardiography (adult pediatric, fetal), interventioanl imaging, bowel imaging, and strain elastography.

Philips Affiniti 30 enables to maximize the system performance and reliablility based on its strong and proven fundamental technologies which are shared with EPIQ and other Affiniti series. Only some of the features and probes are not included to meet better cost efficiency. The Affiniti 30 would be agreat option for physicians who expect Philips advanced automation and superior image quality, but have a budget limitation for New Philips offer.

iSCAN is an one-touch image optimization function for 2D mode and Doppler mode. It is available on all imaging transducers and operations in conjunction with SonoCT and XRES imaging.

 

SonoCT (Real-time compound imaging) helps eliminate virtually all clutter and artifact. It automatically select the number of steering angles (up to 9) based on the user-selected resolution/frame rate (Res/Speed) condition of all curved and linear array transducers. It operates in conjunction with Tissue Harmonic Imaging, XRES imaging, volume modes, and duplex Doppler.

 

AutoSCAN automatically and continuously optimizes the brightness of the image at the default gain and TGC settings for the best image display.

 

iOPTIMIZE intelligent optimization: Multiple technologies for one-button approach to automatically and instantly adjust system performance for different patient sizes, flow states, and clinical requirements. It is a tissue specific imaging function adjusts over 4,000 parameters during transducer or application selection

 

Tissue Harmonic Imaging with pulse inversion technology is the system processing of second harmonic frequencies in tissue incorporating with patented pulse inversion phase cancellation technology for high detail resolution during harmonic imaging.

 

Intelligent Doppler imaging automatically maintains optimal angle-to-flow to assist in delivering consistent Doppler velocity measurements (available with vascular and general imaging application packages on linear transducers only)

 

Adaptive Doppler boosts weak signals to enhance spectrum visibility and pulsed-wave audio signals for enhanced flow assessment

 

SmartExam Protocols: is fully customizable protocol capability for any clinical application supported on the system with flexibility to conduct the examination protocol in any sequence.
